Admission in Class IX/X Through Migration (N.O.C.)

Students who intend to take admission in Class 9 or 10 after migrating from another Board must follow the prescribed N.O.C. process.

Key Admission Rules

  • Admission is allowed within 45 days from the date of issuance of the Migration Certificate (N.O.C.).
  • Admission can be taken in any Board-affiliated public or private institution.
  • Late admissions are subject to penalties as per the enrollment schedule.

Required Documents

Institutions must submit the following with the enrollment return:

  • Original Migration Certificate (N.O.C.)
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • One recent photograph (white background)
  • Attested copy of Bay-Form (B-Form)
  • Recommendation/explanatory letter on official school letterhead
  • Original paid bank challan of enrollment fee

Important: The paid challan must be submitted to the Board’s Registration & Development section within 10 days of admission, even if forms are submitted later under the regular schedule.

School-to-School Migration (Online N.O.C.)

Students seeking transfer from one school to another within the same Board jurisdiction must obtain an official online Migration Certificate (N.O.C.).

  • Applications are processed through the Facilitation Center (Daftar-e-Sahulat).
  • Migration without Board approval is not acceptable.
  • Institutional compliance with Board rules is mandatory.

Correction of Student Data (Online Enrollment Records)

All institutions are responsible for ensuring that student information entered in the online enrollment system is accurate.

General Rules

  • Corrections must be completed before issuance of registration cards and the start of the examination admission schedule.
  • After the exam admission schedule begins, corrections are handled only by the Matriculation Branch.

Required Documents

  • Official explanatory letter from the Head of Institution
  • Attested copy of the relevant page of the Admission & Withdrawal (A&W) Register
  • Paid bank challan

Correction Fee

  • PKR 1500 per student, per correction

Special Instructions for A&W Register Errors

If the register contains overwriting, cuttings, or correction fluid:

  • An attested copy of the primary/middle register or Bay-Form/birth certificate must be provided
  • The original A&W register must be corrected accordingly
  • The Board may demand original records for verification at any time

All correction documents and fees must be submitted within 15 days of the online request. Delays will be the institution’s responsibility.

Correction of Student Photograph

Photograph correction is strictly regulated.

Photo Correction Conditions

  • Fee: PKR 1500 per student
  • Allowed only for Class IX, and only before examinations
  • Class X photographs cannot be changed
  • Photos with veil (Niqab) or unclear images are not accepted

After the examination admission schedule, photo corrections are processed through the Matriculation Branch only.

Online Change of Subjects (Class IX/X)

Subject changes are allowed under controlled timelines.

Procedure

  • Online subject change requests are processed through the Registration Branch
  • Allowed before issuance of exam admission schedule
  • Fee: PKR 1500 per subject
  • Hard copy of the request must be submitted through the Head of Institution

After the schedule is issued, all subject changes must be handled by the Matriculation Branch.

Re-Admission Procedure for Class IX (Regular & Private)

Students who wish to re-admit in Class 9 after the annual examination results may do so under defined conditions.

Eligibility

Re-admission is available to:

  • Students who failed (less than 33% marks)
  • Students who were absent in exams
  • Students who passed but wish to cancel their result for improvement
  • Only previously registered Class IX students (regular or private)

  • Application must be submitted within 30 days of result announcement
  • Subject change is allowed during re-admission
  • This facility is available once per academic year
